MEDREL TO MOVE NORTH

TV AND Media company, Medrel, are to open a new branch of their facility. Locations currently under consideration include the Caernarfon area and the A55 Corridor.
The Chapter Arts based company which services the national and the independent film and television companies in the South intends to duplicate this service in the North.
Managing Director of Medrel, David Lepla-Lewis, said: “It has always been on the company agenda to utilise the indigenous talent of actors and technical TV/film personnel based in the North. Ironically some 65 per cent of the company’s business this year has come from North Wales based film and television companies. With Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham less than two hours away by motorway, Medrel intends to launch a strong marketing campaign in the new year to attract work from those areas in the North.”
Recruitment of full and part time staff will commence in the Autumn of this year. (CD)
