MEDIA ANTENNA WALES TO HOLD TWO SEMINARS IN JULY

MEDIA ANTENNA Wales, based at Sgrin and Wales Trade International will be holding two seminars on the new MEDIA Plus programme and the MIPCOM trade market.
The seminar in North Wales is to be held on July 24 at the TAC/Cyfle offices, Gronant, and the seminar in South Wales is on July 30 at the TAC/Cyfle offices, Crichton House.
MEDIA Antenna Wales and Wales Trade International will be holding a seminar on the European Commission's new MEDIA Plus programme and the Wales Trade International stand at the MIPCOM 2001 market on October 9 to the 15, 2001).
MEDIA Plus is a five-year programme targeted at the European Union's media sector. It offers grants to develop documentary, animation, film, drama and multimedia projects; funding to distribute audiovisual works; high quality international training courses; and reductions at European festivals and markets as well as a number of other international events.
In October, Wales Trade International will be cooperating with Sgrin, Media Agency for Wales and MEDIA Antenna Wales to organise a stand for Welsh producers at MIPCOM 2001, one of the largest international television programme markets of its kind.
The package will include reduced registration, accommodation and travelling rates and the opportunity to use the stand to promote products and meet up with prospective clients.
