Hitachi to bundle Sonic MyDVD with DVD-RAM cameras

Sonic Solutions, the world leader in DVD creation applications, have announced that its Sonic MyDVD 4 software is now bundled with Hitachi's new DVD-RAM cameras worldwide.
Included with Hitachi's DVD-RAM DZ-MV350 Series and DZ-MV380 Series cameras, Sonic MyDVD provides Hitachi's customers with a complete solution for turning their videos, music and digital photos into DVDs with motion menu backgrounds, animated buttons and high-quality slideshows.
The completed DVD projects can then be played back on any of the millions of set-top and PC-based DVD players around the world.
"After having evaluated various DVD recording applications available to us, we chose to go with Sonic," said Takahiko Nakae, the director of the DVD products division, at Hitachi. "Sonic Solutions is recognized the world-over as the leading provider of solutions for DVD creation, and their MyDVD 4 software provides our users with the features, performance and reliability they count on for creating home videos to share with family and friends."
Koki Terui, Senior Vice President of Pacific Rim Operations at Sonic Solutions, said: "Hitachi's new DVD-RAM cameras represent the future of home video creation, as they change the way that people shoot, record, archive and share their videos. Sonic is extremely pleased that MyDVD will play a key role in Hitachi's new DVD-RAM cameras. Together, we provide an exceptional combination of features, performance, and ease-of-use in home recording."
Hitachi's DVDCAM DZ-MV350 Series and DZ-MV380 Series announced at the International CES convention and will ship worldwide in April 2003.
