IDX to launch two new chargers at IBC

IDX Technology is launching two four-channel V-Mount chargers at IBC 2004.
Both are of moulded polycarbonate construction making them light and robust. To meet demand for the fast turnaround of multiple high capacity batteries, these offer true simultaneous charging. They are both multi-chemistry with an advanced model, that includes an LCD display for battery data including charge cycles, maximum current, capacity, etc.
A USB connection allows updating the internal software and extracting the battery data to the Battery Management System (BMS) that was launched NAB this year. There is also the option of adding the Discharge Block. This discharges four batteries together while also recording data on battery performance to a BMS. In addition the block facilitates the charging of BP batteries.
The X3-Lite is a new revolutionary and long-lasting on-board camera light. It offers the equivalent output to a 40W halogen bulb while only drawing a battery-friendly 11W and, as LEDs are tough and last many years, there is no need to carry spares.
There is also good news for the many using NP batteries. The IDX NP-L50 and NP-L50S batteries are now upgraded from 50 to 55Wh.
This is ten-percent extra capacity is supplied on new batteries with no increase in price.
