NEW QUARTZ ROUTERS AT IBC 2001

SIX NEW exhibits plus new options for the QMC Master Control Switcher will be introduced by Quartz on stand 9.439 at IBC 2001.
Quartz now offers one of the largest and most comprehensive router ranges in the industry, providing scaleable configurations in all major signal formats.
Amongst the units Quartz will introduce is the new compact Q256-SV SDI router. Based on a 256 x 256 matrix accommodated in just 16U, the Q256 is available in an expandable range from 128 x 128 to 1024 x 1024.
The Quartz Q128-DA digital audio router complements the Q256 SDI router. The new Q128-DA large-scale digital audio router is available in sizes from 32x32 to 256 x 256.
The Quartz Q6400-PR data port router provides port-to-port routing for up to 64 devices and supports both RS-422 and RS-232.
Major new options for the QMC Master Control Switcher will be shown with new features include user-configurable LCD panels with expansion options.
Q1602HD and Q0802HD monitoring routers will be introduced alongside the HD version of the Q256. This expanding HD range will support customers' needs for the migration from standard definition to high definition. All Quartz routers, including HD, are designed to integrate with existing products and share the same control systems and panels, such as the Quartz CP-2000-48, a 2U router control panel with 48 buttons split into three rows of 16. Each button incorporates an in-key LCD for instant updating of source or indent labels. Completely flexible, the panel can be used as XY, BPS or multi-mode with breakaways.
