’Clint Eastwood’ by the Gorillaz, Directed by Passion Pictures’ Pete Candeland and Jamie Hewlett won the ITK Music Video Award, while the Sound Title Sequences & Idents Award was won by Director Nick Livesey from RSA Films for the Hannibal Title Sequence.
The WAM!NET Animation Award was given to ‘Father & Daughter’, Directed by Michael Dudok De Wit from Cloudrunner/Cinette BV.
Joce Capper, Rushes' Managing Director, said: "This year's festival has been a great success and I hope those who attended the screenings have enjoyed the festival as much as we have. The wealth of talent and creativity both from established short filmmakers and newcomers is truly outstanding – and something that we should all be very proud of. Without the support of our sponsors, venues and filmmakers the festival couldn't be the huge success that it has become over the last three years. Most of all - it's the enthusiasm of the general public who turn up in droves to watch and enjoy the shorts - which is what it's all about. A week of entertainment!"
