RTÉ ANNOUNCE NEW CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
RTÉ has announced the appointment of Conor Hayes as Chief Financial Officer.
Hayes joins RTÉ from the Private Equity sector where his most recent role was as Deputy Chairman / Special Projects Director of the Cara Treasury Group.
A UCD B. Comm graduate and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Hayes has extensive experience in operational General Business Management, Investment Policy, Business Strategy and Transformation, Financial Direction / Control and in Corporate Finance activity.
Aged 46, Hayes is a native of Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. He will join RTÉ on October 1 and will succeed Mr. Gerry O'Brien who is retiring at the end of the year.
