BARAKA COMPLETE INTERNATIONAL ADVERTS

PIXELUTION’S CUSTOMER, Baraka Post Production, have completed the International Adverts promoting Warner Records’ ‘MTV Ibiza 2001’ album, which includes some of the biggest tracks from Ibiza clubs, many of which will feature at the forthcoming MTV Ibiza party.
James Harris of Warner Strategic Marketing International commissioned Punk to produce the commercial which features footage of last year’s MTV Ibiza Party combined with funky graphics.
Marina Fiorato was the Producer/Director of the piece. Zip Design, creators of the album cover, collaborated with Punk to produce the graphics. Seb Duthy, Offline Editor, cut eight versions of the advert in Avid.
Baraka’s, David Cox, Senior Editor, composited the footage and graphic elements in JALEO. The titles were also created and animated at this stage.
The massive MTV Ibiza 2001 Party, featuring Planet Funk, Faithless and Basement Jaxx amongst others, will take place on August 29 2001.
The commercial will be aired globally on MTV, excluding the UK and Japan, from August 20 to coincide with the album’s release date. (CD)
