GOFFE REAPPOINTED BY THE ITC
THE CULTURE Secretary Tessa Jowell has announced that Jude Goffe is to have an extended period of appointment at the Independent Television Commission (ITC).
The extended term of appointment is from August 18 until December 31 2001.
Goffe was appointed to the ITC in August 1999. She is 48 years old and a chartered accountant by profession. For several years she worked as a venture capitalist and is a former senior investment director at 3i plc.
Her other appointments include being a non-executive director at Moorfields Eye Hospital. She holds no other public appointments and has not undertaken any political activity in the last five years.
The post of Member carries a salary of £19,900 plus expenses for an expected time commitment of two days per week. (CD)
