Murraypro release triple 16:9 LCD baby monitor

Murraypro has announced the arrival of its brand new triple 16:9 LCD baby monitor at the Broadcast Production Show in London.
Designed for applications where 16:9 aspect pictures must be monitored with correct geometry, the EZ-3 will also be useful where picture quality is important too.
The small size of the 4.5” LCD screen is deceptive regarding the quality of the image produced, as the LCD’s pictures are eminently watchable, even for extended periods, since the required pixel interpolation is performed both cleanly and smoothly.
A particularly pleasing feature of the chosen LCD is the very small amount of horizontal cut-off, which ensures virtually nothing is lost from the picture displayed.
The EZ-3 is housed in a steel case, affording a high level of protection for the monitor. A very low-noise fan is fitted which enables the EZ-3 to run cool, even when fitted with the optional SDI input cards and operated under adverse conditions.
Naturally the EZ-3 auto-switches between 525 and 625 standards.
Supplied with a universal PSU, the EZ-3 can be used worldwide and is ready for instant service anywhere, adjustment free, and with no more than a change of mains lead.

“With the internal SDI cards fitted, it has been suggested as a practical alternative to the ‘quad split’ display, since all functions are replicated and the user would get three or six individual displays in only 2U or 6U, for little more than the cost of a basic quad.”
