Imagine Graphics presents two new digital video players

Imagine Graphics has sourced two new digital video players for the European market, the Firefly MZ, the latest addition to the award-winning Firefly product range from US manufacturer Visual Circuits and the DV-66 Digital Media Player from new US vendor, MedeaWiz Inc.
The Firefly MZ has an end-user price of £1330.00 + VAT and the DV-66 an end-user price of £220.00 + VAT.
Imagine Graphics has implemented an acquisitions policy when sourcing new product that ensures that they fulfill the increasing variation of application requirements. The ever-expanding use of digital video in retail / POP displays, digital signage and professional applications calls for constant updates and choices in digital video supply.
Norman Garland, MD of Imagine Graphics, said of the new products: “Firefly MZ complements the extensive range of single and multi-channel digital video players from Visual Circuits we have been selling for several years. With Firefly MZ users are able to achieve the ‘CNN look’ of complex displays of concurrently displayed digital video, ticker-tape news, graphics and images – at a very affordable price.
“We are particularly excited about distributing the new DV-66 Digital Media Player from MedeaWiz. The DV-66 player is so simple to set up and use yet has the power and flexibility to provide a very cost effective solution for basic AV applications such as museum displays and information kiosks. It uses a standard Compact Flash memory module to store the digital media so there are no moving parts. The unit can play DVD quality video, audio and still images from a simple play-list or under control from a touch-screen or push buttons.”
Imagine Graphics is Visual Circuits’ leading distributor in the UK and Europe and as such is the first to present the latest Firefly MZ, billed as a product that ‘meets the complex demands of professional video production.’
Housed in a compact and lightweight enclosure, Firefly MZ, is perfect for sophisticated digital signage and visual marketing applications.
Firefly MZ offers Multi-Zone digital media functionality that adds a whole new level of creativity to complex digital media presentations. Firefly MZ allows users to designate ‘zones’ within a display screen (plasma, LCD, projector or TV) and assign different formats of digital content to play within each assigned zone. The result is the industry’s long-awaited ability to integrate high-resolution, rich-content graphics with dynamic video and scrolling text messages simultaneously.
Conversely, The DV-66 Digital Media Player is designed to be a very simple, low cost solution and to be the perfect choice for any basic POP display, digital signage or interactive kiosk system due to its compact and lightweight industrial design.
