SSL helps Channel 9 switch to digital
Australian broadcaster Channel 9 has moved its audio production into the digital arena by installing a Solid State Logic C100 digital broadcast console.
The C100 is Channel 9’s first SSL digital audio mixing console and it was chosen because it offered both reliability and ease of use for operators.
Commenting on the sale, SSL’s director of marketing Niall Feldman said: “Moving from analogue to digital is a challenging time for any broadcaster and Channel 9 were cautious after their previous experiences with digital consoles. Understanding this, we made every effort to show Channel 9 that the C100 would be reliable, secure and also easy to use. This trust in us has been rewarded with a successful on-air experience and a user group that finds the desk very simple to operate, yet powerful enough for all their requirements.”
