The Mill New York launches Telecine service

In response to client demand, The Mill New York is set to launch an in-house telecine service.
The Mill New York opened just under two-years ago. After a quiet launch with a small team led by executive producer, Alistair Thompson, and lead Flame artist, Angus Kneale, the company's stateside operation has expanded extremely quickly. It has developed an enviable client roster, spanning, among others, Michel Gondry, Fredrik Bond, Fallon and Crispin Porter.
"In the UK, telecine and The Mill go hand-in-hand," said Thompson, who now runs The Mill New York. "Since day one our clients have been asking us to export our grading expertise to the US as a way of expanding the limited choices available to them. We're now established enough to do it. It's an exciting prospect and I'm confident it'll open-up the narrow grading market."
