MCMILLAN APPOINT TWO NEW DIRECTORS

ONE of the leading AV and Broadcast specialists McMillan have announced the expansion of their Board following the appointment of two new Directors.
Effective from November 1, 2001 Kay Gilmour and Mark Forth join the existing Board of three, Ian McMillan, Angus Knight and Gordon Watson.
The company originated in the Scottish town of Arbroath in 1982 and has continued to grow and develop as Broadcast, Post Production and Content Creation specialists. They have Premier Reseller status for key manufacturers including Avid non-linear editing, Sonic Solutions DVD Authoring, Maya 3D animation software and Sony and Panasonic professional broadcast equipment. They now have 13 branches nationwide with their head office in Arbroath.
Gilmour and Forth both move from internal roles to take up their new challenges.
At the moment Gilmour holds the position of National Marketing Manager, while Forth moves from his position as National Product Manager for Avid.
Founder and Owner Ian McMillan, said: "Their commitment and vision has been something that has impressed the current Directors and something, that is felt, will prove invaluable in taking the company forward.
