Avid Europe appoints new Product Manager

Avid Technology Europe has announced a key appointment to its European product management team.
Owen Walker, formerly of Lightworks, takes the role of European Product Manager, Editing Solutions, and is responsible for driving the success of the Avid DNA family and the editing product line in Europe and the EMEA territories.
Walker brings extensive product development experience and market analysis skills to his role. At Lightworks he held the position of Worldwide Product Manager and was responsible for bringing to market the Lightworks Touch product line. He was also part of the Emmy award-winning team which developed the original Lightworks, Heavyworks and V.I.P products. Walker also previously worked at Fairlight, the digital audio workstation manufacturer, as a Product Manager in Sydney, Australia.
