Hillside appoints new Head of Operations
Hillside Studios, the North London based studio and facilities house, has announced the appointment of Peter Ball as Operations Manager.
Ball brings over 30 years of experience to the studios and related facilities after spending his career in broadcast television.
He started his professional life at Thames, progressing from the position of sound trainee to Sound Supervisor.
Following the loss of the franchise by Thames, he was appointed Head of Sound at Fountain Studios in Wembley, and subsequently became Operations Manager for Talkback Thames' primetime serial dramas ‘The Bill’ and ‘Family Affairs’ at Merton Studios.
Ball said: “I welcome the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a first class facility and look forward to helping to reinvigorate and enhance Hillside’s profile within the industry”
