MURRAYPRO’S SDI TO COST LESS

MURRAYPRO have released a range of very low cost SDI demodulators.
Careful selection of SDI components coupled with “set top box” technology enabled Murraypro to design a versatile, yet ultra low cost, product suitable for TV monitoring.
The demodulator range has been well received by both Specifying Engineers and End Users, and is available in two different package styles, rack mount and “POD” (Press On Demodulator). The performance of either version is identical.
Murraypro’s versatile little design offers four different modes of video operation on two standards; YUV, RGB, Y+C and CVBS outputs in 525 or 625. The default output mode is YUV, but is presetable on a mini-switch. Complimenting the revolutionary Octo-Vu, 8 LCDs in 1 U, up to 8 demodulator cards may be mounted in a 1 U rack mount case. D-9 connectors for each individual channel reduce the number of BNC cables that would be required for YUV operation. SDI “error detect” logic is incorporated to drive external warning lamps.
When supplied for individual mounting at the rear of a TV monitor in “POD” form, an ultra-reliable external power supply with a life expectation in excess of 20 years is included, to form an extremely cost effective SDI/video interface.
