Pinnacle Liquid Edition 5.5 makes a splash at Video Forum

Pinnacle Systems’ Liquid Edition 5.5 was on show at Video Forum, with demonstrations held throughout the duration of the event.
Launched in September 2003, Liquid Edition 5.5 combines the professional and broadcast experience of Pinnacle’s Liquid editing family with the plug-and-play convenience of Edition.

Liquid Edition 5.5 is the first professional non-linear video editing application to utilise both the CPU and GPU to provide more than 1,000 real-time 2D and 3D effects, chroma/luma keys and up to 10 real time streams. Other professional features include Pinnacle’s advanced CX primary and secondary colour corrector, dynamic slow motion controls, direct-from-the-timeline DVD authoring and sophisticated wizards and templates to expedite the DVD creation process.
Liquid Edition 5.5’s powerful Xsend capability allows for rapid sharing of clips and projects with Pinnacle Commotion Pro, Adobe After Effects and Macromedia Flash MX as well as with Pinnacle Thunder servers and Dekocast graphics systems.
Liquid Edition 5.5 also attaches directly to high performance Pinnacle Palladium Store systems and integrates with Vortex networked news systems, providing an all-in-one solution for ingest, journalist editing, craft editing, media management and playout.
