Chyron updates Lyric for Middle East market

Chyron has introduced the latest version of its Arabic Lyric software at CabSat 2004, running on its Duet LEX and Solo Laptop CG systems.
Arabic Lyric, which is an optional 'plug in' to version 4 of Chyron's award winning Lyric compositing tool, has been developed for the expanding Middle East market as a result of numerous requests from customers who were already in tune with Chyron's INFiNiT! series of Character Generators, as well as interest from potential new customers that required an easy to use and easy to understand multilingual Character Generator.
The new version of Arabic Lyric uses the familiar Windows interface to allow operators to function in a variety of languages and dialects. To switch between languages, the user simply selects a different regional 'locale'. Arabic Lyric includes real-time rendering, text effects, multiple rolls and crawls, advanced image effects, 3D object animations, cell animations, and multiple clocks and timers. All languages that require text to be formatted from right to left can be represented using this tool.
Chyron also introduced its state-of-the-art 1RU digital sketch-pad solution, CODI-Strator and its highly- portable laptop based workhorse, Solo, to the Middle Eastern broadcast community; as well as its Aprisa family of high-quality still and clip stores.
