DRAFT ZERO ANNOUNCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

DRAFT Zero, developers of film, television, radio and multimedia projects, have announced that with the support of the Film Council they are launching two development programmes for executives and screenwriters.
Short courses for development executives consist of a comprehensive series of two-day modules exploring all the creative aspects of screenplay development. A module on working with the practical and commercial aspects of genre will be held in association with Bert Gavigan, internationally acclaimed script doctor and advisor to the Sundance Institute.
An eight month programme of workshops, mentoring and lectures is available for screenwriters. Each screenwriter will take their screenplay through an intensive development process. This includes working with directors, script analysts and development specialists.
Glasgow Film Office can contribute 50 per cent of costs on each of the courses on the following basis: the applicant is a Glasgow based production company which is prepared to pay 50 per cent of the course costs; and the writer should have had no more than one project commercially transmitted or distributed.
For more information on the courses and details on costs, contact Draft Zero, 26 Goodge Street, London, W1T 2QG or Tel: 020 7255 2551 Fax: 07092 371565. (CD)
