FFV and EUROCOM Broadcast sign distributor deal

Fast Forward Video (FFV), specialists in digital video recorder (DVR) technology for professional broadcast, industrial video, presentation, and military applications, has announced that Madrid's EUROCOM Broadcast has become a dealer of FFV products to broadcasters in Spain and Portugal, as well as to the company's clients in South and Central America.
"Our interest in working with FFV was born from our great opinion of the company's products," said Francisco José Menchén, EUROCOM's group vice president, sales director, and co-founder. "We know the hard-disk recorder market very well, and we believe the high quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of FFV products have established the company as a leader in this area. DVR technology is going to replace the VTR in virtually every application where instant access to saved material is essential. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to distribute FFV products and feel it will be a very successful business venture."
FFV was one of the first companies to bring digital computer technology to the video industry by applying random access disk storage to a video device. The company's cost-effective DVR solutions, including the award-winning OMEGA Deck DVR, ultra-compact Recon DVR board, and DigiDeck Digital Video Recorder provide high-performance technology and rugged, reliable operation for sporting events, security and remote monitoring, and other remote and mobile broadcast applications.
FFV Vice President of Sales, Kevin McNally, said: "EUROCOM's commercial position, experience in the broadcast sector, and excellent customer portfolio make the company an ideal distributor of our digital video recorder solutions.
"We're very pleased to be working with EUROCOM to bring our advanced technologies to an even broader market."
