Danmon Group To Reinforce Its Media Technology Progress At NAB

News Image
Danmon Group is to focus on media technology progress at the the 2018 NAB Show in Las Vegas (April 07-12).

"We will be promoting our full range of skills across the broadcast, media and IT, professional audio and business solutions sectors," commented Christoffer Kay, Chief Operating Officer of Dan Technologies A/S. "NAB 2018 comes at a crucial time in the development of the broadcast and wider media communications business. The industry is moving into a world of virtualisation and cloud technology."

"Our focus is on reinforcing Danmon's position as a strong global player in sales, service and system integration for the broadcast and entertainment segment. This is about being able to understand the business challenges faced by customers. Not just the infrastructure, but the ways in which new technology changes behaviour among consumers."

"These changes in turn generate new broadcast business models including new modes of content distribution. The Danmon Group's extensive resources enable us to draw on internal specialist competencies instead of needing to call in external services, which are often a necessary addition for smaller players in the market."

Part of the Dan Technologies organisation, Danmon Group is a long-established broadcast and media solutions provider, combining in-depth experience with the ability to implement new technology quickly and efficiently. Established in 1981, it operates globally and acts locally with offices in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, Vietnam, Spain and Portugal.

A key element of Danmon Group's activity is to help customers navigate in an industry impacted by unprecedented change in consumer behaviour. New patterns of consumption, driven by the enormous amount of content and variety of viewing platforms available, require an adaptability and readiness that is challenging the current technology and infrastructure of broadcast and media companies.

The Danmon Group covers a wide range of competencies and skills required in today's advanced broadcast and media sector within traditional broadcast, IT/IP, RF, satellite, audio over IP, virtual studios, archiving and storage, OTT and streaming platforms, as well as API and workflow management software.
