BFV Exclusive: Richard James Discusses The Importance Of BVE
Broadcast Film & Video talks to Richard James, Senior Account Manager at Global Distribution, about the company's continued growth, HDR and the importance of BVE.
Global Distribution is a specialist distributor for digital content acquisition, storage, management, archival and display solutions within the media, surveillance and enterprise industries.
When asked about the company and its growth Mr James said: "Our approach to the market has always been to add value to the industry. We understand technology. We understand workflows. We understand the demands users have and where the industry is moving."
He highlighted the presence of HDR as the "biggest change in more than a generation", and reinforced its importance to 4K, HD, and even 8K content.
Global Distribution puts a lot of focus on its BVE presence, and specific interest was made in collaborative storage, archiving, and managing data.
