CYFLE POST DIMENSION 10 E-CHRISTMAS CARD

LOOK out for Cyfle’s Christmas card. This year, it will arrive virtually and will provide an interactive experience as its Christmas greeting unfolds.
Cyfle’s interactive e-Christmas card has been designed by the trainess of Dimension 10, the new Cyfle training programme for interactive media.
Cyfle Chief Executive, Sion Hughes, said: “To celebrate the fact that we have established this unique new training programme during 2001, we thought that it would be an excellent idea to have our Christmas greeting designed by the Dimension 10 trainees.”
Dimension 10 is a full-time, six month, employer led, vocational training programme in interactive media. It is a collaboration with interactive media companies designed to meet their skills requirements. The intense industry involvement is regarded as the main strength of the training programme and will be vital to its success. Industry is actively involved in all aspects of the project - in planning, recruitment, training, mentoring, and as potential employers of the trainees.
Dimension 10 is funded by ELWa, the National Assembly for Wales, and the European Social Fund (through the Objective 1 programme); as well as the participating companies, B-DAG, Kode, Merlin Digital, and BBC Wales. (CD)
