Kino Flo Introduces New LED Accessories

Kino Flo Lighting Systems have introduced a number of new accessories in recent months, including the Kino Flo/BlockBattery and the new Gaffer Tray for FreeStyle 31 and 21 LED.

Kino Flo partnered with BlockBattery to deliver the KF21 (NiMH) battery systems for its LED line. The battery system is designed for the company's LED productions with DC capability:
• Celeb 250 LED DMX
• Diva-Lite 20 & 30 DMX
• FreeStyle 31 & 21 LED DMX
• Select 30 & 20 LED DMX.

The KF21 battery can power 28.8V (20-34VDC) applications. Run time for Kino Flo products listed above is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes at full brightness. When fixtures are dimmed, the battery will last longer.

Charge time is only 1.5 hours versus lithium batteries that take approximately 4 hours to fully charge. Unlike lithium batteries, the Kino Flo/BlockBattery is also travel friendly with no travel restrictions. In addition to powering 28.8V, battery adapters may be used to access 14.4V to be used with products with 14.4V input. It's like having two batteries for the price of one.

The battery system includes a charger, universal power supply and Mafer Mount with 28.8V output with 3-Pin xlr. A Baby Mount with 28.8V output with 3-Pin xlr is available as an option. The Kino Flo/BlockBattery will be available as a one battery or two battery system and is available now.

Adding another layer of versatility to the FreeStyle LED family, Kino Flo announced the release of a new standalone Gaffer Tray (FIX-F31T or FIX-F21T) – an accessory for the FreeStyle 31 and 21 LED. The Gaffer Tray holds the removable LED panel. With the built-in mating plate, the KinoGrip centre mount can be attached. The LED controller can also be attached with velcro or operate remotely with a 25ft head extension.

The tray allows for a smaller profile fixture without having the need to bend the plastic barndoors back. When the mount and controller are removed, the tray can be screwed into the wall or ceiling through its screw points. The Gaffer Tray is also now available.
