Brighton Film School Announce Summer School Dates

News Image
Brighton Film School has announced its film summer school dates for 2017.

Are you a young filmmaker, aged 15 – 17, and want to work on two or three short films over two weeks this summer at one of the UK's top film schools?

Then Summer School Juniors is for you. On the Film Summer School, students will be taught by industry professionals who will show you how to bring your ideas to life. You will form crews with your classmates and, under the schools' guidance, plan your films to be shot on first-class digital cameras. You will go through the process of filmmaking from script development to storyboard and then plan your shoot schedule.

Places on this programme are limited and very popular. At the time of writing, there are just nine spaces left on the course commencing Monday, 24 July 2017; and 10 places commencing Monday, 14 August 2017.

For more details, or to apply, visit the School's website.

Brighton Film School will also host an adults summer school course as well. Be ready for festivals, university portfolios, and fulfil a dream – all under the guidance of a film director and industry professionals.

Again, these courses fill up very quickly and (at the time of writing), the three-week course has just three places left and is already oversubscribed. To secure a place, visit the School's website. The course, which starts Monday, 7 August 2017, costs £840.
