ZONE VISION SIGN DEAL WITH ALPHA DIGITAL SYNTHESIS

ZONE Vision, the London-based thematic channel producers and distributors, have signed a deal with Alpha Digital Synthesis SA to launch the channel in Greece on Alpha DTH platform.
The company have also extended their Reality TV deal with Arab Digital Distribution (ADD) to include new territories in Africa.
Reality TV was launched in December on Alpha DTH as part of the basic package offering an English language service with Greek subtitles to follow from mid February. Alpha DTH is the second largest and newest platform in the Greek market with already 25,000 subs and the platform is expecting to grow its subscriber base by an additional 65,000 by the end of this year.
Zone Vision have also signed a deal with ADD to extend Reality TV into Arabic-speaking territories in Northern Africa and Egypt from January 2002. ADD currently distributes the channel in the Middle East to 100,000 subscribers and will fully localise the channel into Arabic from the end of January 2002. (CD)
