CHYRON OPEN IN-HOUSE TX & PRODUCTION SUITES

Chyron Corporation have announced the opening of new transmission (TX) and production training suites at its training and demonstration centre in the company's UK Headquarters in Reading.
The complete turnkey, multi-channel transmission suite, with a full graphics production facility, is part of a major investment in creating a state-of-the-art training and demonstration arena.
The equipment shows the latest technologies available – including interactive graphics delivery systems and multi-channel streaming capabilities - as well as the more established routing, distribution, master control and graphics solutions. The result is a full transmission suite showing broadcasters the total "end to end solution" available from Chyron.
Chyron will be opening a similar suite at Chyron's USA headquarters in Melville, NY.
Graham Pitman, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, said: "By having demonstration and training facilities on both sides of the Atlantic, we can emulate the needs of the growing number of broadcasters with worldwide interests. This helps us realize our goal of becoming a company without borders."
This will be the first time that broadcasters will have the ability to replicate their true working environment before making critical decisions in investment, and also experiment with new technologies - such as graphic delivery systems.
Chyron claim one of the numerous benefits of this centre is for automation - as this is not only a cultural change, but an operational change too – is that broadcasters can fully train their operational staff before going to air.
"These new facilities show how the company has evolved through working with, and listening to the demands of the customers worldwide. Our new transmission suite enables customers to see and experience the variety of solutions that exist for a multi-channel/multi-cultural, wide screen broadcast environment," commented Steve Hathaway, Director of International Sales, Marketing and Customer Support. Continuing, "What's more, Chyron customers are fully supported along the decision making process and right through to live broadcasting." (SP)
