'Handsome Devil' Trailer Released

News Image
The trailer for Handsome Devil has been unveiled ahead of its Irish premiere later this month at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival (ADIFF).

The film, which is to receive its European premiere at the Glasgow International Film Festival today, 15 February, is produced by Rebecca O'Flanagan and Rob Walpole for Treasure Entertainment. Handsome Devil had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2016. It will also be screened at ADIFF's Closing Night Gala on 26 February.

The film stars Irish actors Andrew Scott, Moe Dunford, Amy Huberman and Ardal O'Hanlon, as well as Fionn O'Shea and Nicholas Galitzine, and follows the story of the unlikely friendship of boarding school roommates Ned (O'Shea) and Conor (Galitzine). Despite taking an instant dislike to each other, they are encouraged by their English teacher Dan Sherry (Scott) to find their own voices and defy the status quo of their rugby-obsessed school. As the two bond over music, an unlikely and inspiring friendship develops.

Handsome Devil was produced by Treasure Entertainment with funding from the Irish Film Board/Bord Scannán na hÉireann.

The trailer for Handsome Devil can be found here.
