UK Care Industry Turns To Video To Boost Recruitment

Over the past 10 years the UK has seen growing requirement for independent homecare providers, however the sudden increase in demand has not been without its challenges.

Recruitment within the care industry is often difficult as the sector requires high levels of skill and dedication, yet the sector has limited resources.

To address the recruitment challenge, a leading homecare provider, Bluebird Care, has commissioned a series of films from video marketing agency fortyfoursixteen, which it plans to share and distribute via social media with the aim of reaching out to potential new staff. 

fortyfoursixteen company Director Neil Waddington relied on his years of experience producing video content and his knowledge of how people communicate with each other. He said: "The recruitment videos have been distributed online and have really hit the spot, as that is where Bluebird Care’s target audience is. In this modern digital age, more and more people are choosing to engage with brands online and so online video is perfect for recruitment."

These videos have been an immense success and so far have been distributed to more than 60 Bluebird Care centres across the UK to use on their individual websites.
