Hamlet And Good To Go!

News Image
Hamlet had a successful 2016 with a great response to its latest modular matrix switch range launched at IBC.

The Hamlet portables for base band and streaming, test, measurement, monitoring and analysis outperformed the competition by virtue of their uniqueness and the instruments' ability to satisfy operational requirements.

In 2017 we will continue our well-known ethos of "Broadcast Excellence and Innovation", providing the best value for money and service.

2017 will be the 31st year Hamlet has been a leader in the field of broadcast solutions.

We are indebted and thank the designers, manufacturing, service, sales and all office staff who have enabled us to achieve the success we have experienced over the years. We are sure it will continue in 2017.

With that in mind, we are offering in the first quarter of 2017 New Year discounts on the new modular and 12G, Matrix Switch Routing Switchers, MicroFlex Mach2 and Enterprise T&M products direct from Hamlet to kick start your advantage and savings on expenditure. Conditions apply.

The new MSC-XDM modular SDI Routers offer extremely high levels of routing flexibility, with a choice of 3 base models enabling optimization of operation and unit cost.

Each unit is user expandable, with system sizes up to 16x16, 32x32, and 64x64, in 1RU, 2RU or 4RU of rack space.

Base system frames include dual redundant power supplies and cross point hardware, requiring only additional customer selected I/O hardware.

Modular systems can be independently expanded by 8 input or 8 output Modular I/O cards, allowing for asymmetrical matrix sizes.

I/O cards types include 75 Ohm BNC and SFP module cards which can be mixed without restriction.

When utilizing SFP modules, matrix sizes are configurable down to a single input or output.

Cost competitive SFP Modules for Fibre Optic and HDMI options further enhance flexibility.

Industry standard MSA compatible modules can also be used.

The new MSC-UXD 12G-SDI UHD routing switchers are currently available in 8x8, 8x4, and 4x4 matrix sizes and offer support for 4K and UHD SDI formats and are backwards compatible with 6G, 3G, 1.5G and SD rates.

So whether your project requires 6G or 12G rates or you want to future proof your SDI infrastructure, we have the solution for you.

The MSC-UXD range have a new higher performance control system with a more compact design, while providing increased control performance and a reduction in unit cost.
