IDX HL-9 Promotion: Cash Back Trade In

IDX have announced a superb cash back offer for existing IDX HL-9 customers.

Until the 31st March 2017, participating IDX dealers are offering €50.00/£40.00 cash back for each used E-HL9 traded in against the purchase of a new one.

This allows users to return their old HL-9 for disposal in an environmentally aware manner.

The E-HL9 is the premium battery offering from IDX.

The cells can sustain a 10A/120W draw and offer excellent performance even when the temperature drops to below minus 20°C.

Intelligence is built into the battery delivering historical data to the IDX BMS battery management system as well as supplying real time run data to say the camcorder viewfinder.

A key feature for the major broadcasters and hire companies that use the E-HL9 is that at 87Wh, it is comfortably below the IATA 100Wh limit for carry on restrictions.

Yet when extra capacity is required, a second battery can be power linked to the first, doubling the effective capacity.

IDX spokesperson Neil Marflitt stated: "We are pleased to reward the many loyal broadcasters and hire companies who have standardised on the E-HL9 over the years. Many have had over 5 years hard use from these batteries and this gives them the opportunity to replace them at a reduced capital outlay."
