Established since 1997, Alpha Medical is a highly respected medical company that is owned and managed by experienced healthcare professionals.

We are based in Essex and deliver a seven-day service for our clients on a local, national and international basis.

Alpha Medical provides two main services; a 24/7 private ambulance service and a professional event medical cover service. Our clients include the NHS and private healthcare sector, private individuals, businesses, schools and many other organisations including various film, TV and other production companies.

Television and Film Productions
Over the years our medical personnel have provided professional static medical cover for various television shows, documentaries and well-known films, working 'in shot and also 'behind the camera'. In fact, many years ago, our Managing Director (who is an HCPC registered Paramedic and also an RODP) provided the medical cover for 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' and 'Henry V'.

Our staff understand the special needs of the film and TV industry and we are therefore more than able to adapt our service to meet the specific individual requirements of each assignment – regardless of whether our staff are required for just a few hours or *months at a time doing day and/or night work. In addition, Alpha Medical is able to provide professional medical cover (and relevant advice if needed) for one-off stunts and/or commercials.
