RTX delivers SD and HD graphics for live sports broadcasts

Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD are using Inscriber’s RTX to broadcast real-time sports graphics.
Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD are using RTX and RTX HD respectively, in conjunction with Bannister Lake’s BLScoreBug, to generate standard and high definition graphics and real-time output of scores for their live broadcasts of baseball and basketball.
Bannister Lake Software developed their BL SportsBug solution, based on RTX and RTX HD, to simultaneously generate standard and high definition graphics for live sports events.
“The challenge was to come up with a graphics solution that would enable us to display both standard and high definition graphics. We couldn't be happier with the performance of RTX and BLScoreBug as well as the flexibility and ease of integration with our existing graphics solutions,” said Theresa Warburton, Creative Director for Rogers Sportsnet.
Inscriber’s RTX and RTX HD are used worldwide by broadcasters to create custom real-time broadcast applications for the display of dynamic information in sports, elections, weather and news. RTX and RTX HD interface directly with video hardware, allowing broadcasters to create live custom applications for split screens, multi-zone displays or crawls with links to live data feeds.
