Mick Mason joins ARRI as Rental Consultant

ARRI Lighting Rental and ARRI Media, the leading UK lighting and camera equipment houses, have announced the appointment of Mick Mason as ‘Rental Consultant’ for the group rental activities.
As of February 2002, Mick will promote the joint interests of the camera, lighting and grip Rental activities of both companies, facilitating complete equipment packages for film and television drama productions throughout the UK and Europe.
ARRI Lighting Rental Managing Director, Tommy Moran, welcomed the announcement: "Mick comes to us with a wealth of experience and a great following throughout the industry. Money can’t buy the knowledge Mick has, and we are delighted that he has chosen to offer his expertise to the ARRI Group. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."
Mick Mason has had a long and distinguished career within the UK Film industry and has made many friends during his 47 years of working with the camera department. After humble beginnings as a 16 year old at The Associated British Picture Corporation, Mason has interspersed a career in Camera Rental (including spells with Ronford, Technovision and most recently VFG) with freelance roles covering every facet of the industry.
