ScreenHits Calls For Pilot Showcase Entries

ScreenHits has called for entries to this year's Pilot Showcase.

The Pilot Showcase is ScreenHits' annual competition accepting completed, original television pilots and web series, in association with Universal Publishing Production Music.

The entries will screen in competition on ScreenHits consumer platform, which is available in more than 30 million households worldwide via desktop and Samsung Smart TVs, and the top 50 pilots with the highest consumer ratings and pre-orders will make the Official Selection. These will then be placed on ScreenHits B2B platform and marketed to more than 4,000 development and acquisition executives from broadcasters and studios around the world. The winner with the most pre-sales and consumer votes will receive a guaranteed development deal to finish off the first season.

Universal Publishing Production Music is the Official Music Provider for the 2016 Pilot Showcase and are offering all producers free and unlimited access to their music catalogue of more than 500,000 tracks for use in any of the Pilots submitted to the Showcase.

Entries for this year's competition are now welcome. Artists are allowed to submit multiple entries to the competition. All entries must be received by ScreenHits no later than 11:59pm (PST) on 30 May, 2016.
