Marquis Broadcast To Debut At Broadcast Asia

News Image
Marquis Broadcast has announced it will exhibit at Broadcast Asia for the first time this year. The company will demonstrate its solutions on booth 5A1-01.

Chris Steele, Managing Director, Marquis Broadcast, said: "We have a number of high-profile broadcast clients in the region and we plan to extend our reach by introducing our whole product range for the first time. We are keen to meet new partners and also take time to understand the needs of direct customers and look forward to making new contacts at the show."

On display at Broadcast Asia will be Medway, a flexible media and metadata workflow automation solution which eliminates file incompatibilities. By providing transfer and format conversion workflows for video, audio, data and metadata, Medway allows for the exchange of media and metadata between broadcast systems in a fast, transparent and cost effective way, enabling its users to operate complete file based workflow in mixed format environments.

Edit Bridge is an integration application for enabling Avid Interplay content to be discoverable and editable in other applications. It enables users to search Avid Interplay from within a client window or the Adobe Premiere Pro CC or After Effects interface, view thumbnails, find media and select for editing. Content can be dragged and dropped from the client window into other applications such as Grass Valley Edius or Apple Final Cut Pro X. The Edit Bridge Client has been designed to support both Windows and Mac platforms.

Parking is a range of products that simplify and automate the management, backup and archive of Avid projects and edit storage. Project Parking offers a complete Avid storage management solution, analysing all Avid projects and media to identify which projects are using up most space and take appropriate action to transfer, archive or delete. Workspace Parking provides a secure disaster recovery solution for Avid facilities enabling a complete back up of Avid workspaces so that critical projects can be restored in just a matter of minutes.

"Our solutions help organisations realise the many advantages of file based workflows, through seamless integration," added Steele. "As well as broadcasters, we also work with partners and leading manufacturers to ensure their solutions can integrate with other vendors' products. So whatever your incompatibility problem, come and talk to us at Broadcast Asia to see how our innovative solutions can overcome some of the common technical challenges that facilities face today."
