Quantel launch Henry Infinity Version 9

Quantel have begun distributing the new Henry Infinity Version 9 which is designed to boost the editing capability of the Henry Infinity with new primary editing tools and an array of user friendly audio management features.
The new primary editing tools boost productivity across all applications and are invaluable when editing without an EDL, for example in promos, sports and news.
For audio management, a new sync database tracks the video/audio lip sync of every segment in an editing session and a segment-by-segment indication of the sync relationship of any selected audio segment to every other audio and video segment in the clip is available.
Also available is a track-by-track warning when an edit trim operation may be about to change audio/video sync, with an overview warning in the video viewer. There are also tools to set, change and remove existing sync relationships and auto-select of split audio and video edits when trimming to help to prevent accidental lip sync errors.
The new audio management features allow working with audio quick and easy, helping the operator prevent and correct sync issues.
The Henry Infinity Version 9 also includes other features such as full width clip info, trim tails in the library and eject box in the I/O menu.
The Henry Infinity Version 9 trial can be installed free of charge for a limited period. All Version 7 and 8 Henry Infinity owners will receive a V9 'Try-Before-You-Buy' pack in the next few weeks.
