St. Anne’s near completion of 'Henry VIII' post

St. Anne’s Post is currently completing the post-production on Henry VIII, Granada’s two-part TV drama based on the life of the notorious English monarch.
Due for transmission in October 2003, the drama stars Ray Winstone as Henry VIII and Helena Bonham-Carter as scheming seductress Anne Boleyn.
Bruce Everett and the St. Anne’s team have been working very closely with Henry VIII’s Post-production Supervisor, Phil Brown on the project.
“Granada’s reputation for top class drama requires a facility that can cope with its production demands,” said Phil Brown. “Without doubt, St. Anne’s have proved to be a great success for the producer and director, allowing them to maintain the technical quality and artistic interpretation necessary for their requirements. Henry VIII is directed by Pete Travis (The Jury, Cold Feet), written by Pete Morgan (The Jury) and produced by Francis Hopkinson (Danielle Cable: Eyewitness, The Jury), and is a co-production between Granada Television, WGBH Boston and Powercorp. The series is also produced in association with the CBC (Canada) and the ABC (Australia).
