Megahertz Broadcast successful despite former parent's liquidation

The closure of Megahertz Communications has had no negative implications for their one-time subsidiary Megahertz Broadcast Systems.
Megahertz Broadcast Systems were taken over in a management buy-out at IBC 2001, which separated their operation from Megahertz Communications. Since the buy-out, Megahertz Broadcast Systems have been building on their 15-year run of successful service to the international broadcast industry.
The Cambridge-based broadcast systems integrator became independent under the guidance of directors Frances Jarvis and Stephen Burgess and continue to support broadcasters with provision of turnkey television and radio studio systems, the construction of outside broadcast vehicles, SNG vehicles and satellite earth stations. The company are also expanding into emerging markets such as broadband networks and web casting.
Megahertz Broadcast Systems are currently busy with the technical and systems installation and of a new radio mobile for BBC Resources' London Operations and the supply and installation of television facilities for SESCO in Asaba, Nigeria. Other orders include providing television broadcast facilities and television studio control room furniture for national broadcaster Kuwait Television, HTV in Cardiff, Cactus Television in London for the Channel 4 'Richard and Judy Show', and Pinewood Studios for 'The Weakest Link'.
