Sky Atlantic And HBO To Broadcast 'Vinyl' Premiere Simultaneously

Sky Atlantic and HBO are to simultaneously broadcast the premiere of a new show next year, it has been announced.

The first episode of the 70's-era Vinyl will be shown at 2am on 15 February 2016, with a repeat at 9pm.

The ten-part drama has been created by Mick Jagger, Martin Scorsese and Terence Winter.

The shows stars include Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger and Paul Ben-Victor.

Set during the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop music, Vinyl is seen through the eyes of Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), a record label president who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.
