Nevion To Showcase IP Technology
Nevion will demonstrate its IP technology at CCW, showing how broadcasters can make the switch from traditional baseband to in-studio IP broadcasting.
Nevion's VideoIPath will be on display during the event, which takes place next month, 11–12 Nov., New York. The solution is supported by the company's switches and gateways that will be used to create a standards-based software defined media network (SDN). Nevion will demonstrate the latest developments in IP-based contribution and primary distribution, including real-time 4K transport.
The NX4600 Media Gateway compression platform, which offers high-quality H.264/MPEG-4 AVC encoding and decoding, will be on display, as well as the latest update to the Sublime X2 compact hybrid video/audio router.
Other highlights are the Flashlink product range, including the transport and processing of a higher density of signals. Flashlink helps broadcasters manage the entire live media process, as it encompasses all live signal production, regardless of signal origin, when synchronicity, low latency, reliability and operational ease are all priorities.
