E4 To Welcome Scream Queens

E4 has confirmed 'Scream Queens' will be coming to the channel this autumn.

The series, which is part black comedy and part slasher flick, is a modern take on a 'whodunnit', where each character has a motive for murder. They could also become the next victim.

Kappa House, an American university sorority for girls, has recovered from the events of 1995 when a sorority party ended in tragedy. It is now the most sought-after sorority for pledges (potential new members), and ruled with an iron fist (adorned in a pink glove) by Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts). However, things start to go wrong when anti-Kappa Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) rules that sorority pledging must be open to all students, not just the school's elite. To make matters worse, a devil-clad killer begins wreaking havoc across the campus on the 20th anniversary of the party.

Scream Queens has been created by Ryan Murphy (Glee, American Horror Story), Brad Falchuk (Glee, American Horror Story) and Ian Brennan (Glee).

The cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Nasim Pedrad, Oliver Hudson, Skyler Samuels, and Keke Palmer; as well as Billie Lourd, Diego Boneta, Glen Powell, Lucien Laviscount, Niecy Nash, Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande.

Scream Queens is from Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision, in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, who also serve as writers and directors.

The series is executive produced by Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Alexis Martin Woodall.
