Aurora Lighting Chosen For Alan Carr's New Series

Aurora Lighting Hire has returned to the studio with Lighting Director Chris Rigby for the new series of Alan Carr Chatty Man.

Recorded in front of a live audience at ITV London Studios, Chris has used a variety of light sources across the stage to compliment the decadent set. Versatility is key throughout the installation, with proceedings staying clear and bright in Alan's sofa area, whilst the audience also remain illuminated. A 'rock and roll' approach has also been taken to lighting up the weekly musical performances.

For the series, Aurora supplied an extensive LED package which has been integrated throughout the interview area. Pulsar Chromabatten 300 and Chromastrip X3s have been incorporated to light up the set pieces, with Martin Aura Wash units hung overhead to provide additional wash to the set flats.

The live stage has been fitted out with a selection of automated fixtures, including Martin Viper Profiles and Rush MH3s, which give the lighting director the flexibility to create individual moods that compliment the show's mix of performances.

Alan Car Chatty Man is currently airing on Channel 4, Friday at 10pm.
