Foundry releases software support for Mac OS X

Soho-based company The Foundry, a leading visual effects plug-ins developer, have announced the availability of a free maintenance release, enabling their Tinderbox plug-ins range to be used on the Mac OS X operating system.
A long-standing supporter of the Mac platform, The Foundry, established in 1996, have ported their popular Tinderbox software at a time when industry support for OS X grows stronger.
As well as support for Mac OS X, the release also includes improvements to speed, new parameters and features to existing plug-ins, and bug fixes.
Future Tinderbox plug-ins sets, including Tinderbox 3, which will be launched at NAB 2002, will include Mac OS X support as standard.
The maintenance release for After Effects 5.5 on Mac OS X is available free of charge to existing customers of Tinderbox 1 and Tinderbox 2, and is downloadable from The Foundry’s website www.thefoundry.co.uk
