Avid UK appoints new Marketing Manager

Avid Technology Europe (EVA) have announced the appointment of Barbara Hoyte as UK Marketing Manager.
Ms Hoyte takes over from Sofia Rychlik-Hadley, who has become Avid’s European PR Manager.
The newly installed Marketing Manager joins Avid with over 10 years’ marketing experience in a variety of industries including over five years in the broadcast field. Starting her marketing career with stints at the Royal National Institute for the Deaf and The Design Council, she then spent four years at Worldwide Television News (WTN). Her responsibilities for this post involved above and below the line marketing to promote WTN’s entertainment, sports and commercial production facilities.
Ms Hoyte’s most recent position was as Marketing Manager at EVA Entertainment Ltd, a Pearson Television company, where she formulated and implemented EVA’s marketing strategy for a range of animation programmes and licenced products across Europe.
“I am looking forward to steering Avid UK’s marketing programme as we move towards a much more customer-focused strategy,” she said.
“The opportunity to further develop and enhance Avid’s existing relationships with its customers will be a big challenge, but one I look forward to undertaking.”
