Vistek to display world's largest synchroniser at NAB2002

At this year's NAB exhibition, Vistek will be showing the company's latest modular SDI synchroniser which is said to be the largest in the world.
The module stands almost as high as a two-storey house and will dominate Vistek's booth (L8832) at the show.
The company aims to seek customers with applications for the Very Large Synchroniser (VLS) technology embodied in this unit.
At the other end of the scale, Vistek will be demonstrating production versions of their V1641 Video/Audio Processor. The module incorporates signal routing, synchronising, level control and processing of both video and audio signals – including an embedded audio within the confines of a single V1600 series PCB. There has been significant interest in the product and Vistek already have large orders for it.
Vistek will also be demonstrating additional products for fibre optic applications – particularly for monomode fibre. The company also hope they shall be able to show off their fibre multiplexing at the event.
Vistek will also be displaying its first high definition product. This comes in the form of a standard V1606 rack housing, now capable of taking a mix of video and audio, digital and analogue, and also high definition.
Finally, Vistek's extensive control system offering will be expanded to encompass client/server technologies and to provide a wider choice of user interface.
