ITV Solves Destination Dilemmas...

A new series billed for ITV in the New Year will seek to help the Great British public avoid holiday hell in 2015.

The Trip Advisors (working title) is a 4 x 60 series produced by Studio Lambert starring a recurring cast of British characters as they sample and review holidays.

"Our holidays are filled with jeopardy – from the things we can choose such as the travel, the accommodation and the food, to those we can't like our relatives and the weather," a statement from ITV said. "If it goes to plan the reward is lifelong happy memories – get it wrong and we're left with an expensive mistake, best forgotten."

The Trip Advisors [WT] will intercut the experiences of five different groups of holidaymakers to reveal how Britons like to get away.

ITV director of factual Richard Klein said: "God knows, we all need a break... but what if it isn't the holiday of our choice? Potentially a nightmare. But potentially also really rather revealing, perhaps even a life-changing experience and insight into another way to have a holiday. Finally here is a show which gives several sides to a holiday. The Trip Advisors is a fun, entertaining and witty show that sheds light on how we all spend time off."
