ATG introducing viewcast NiagaraMAX to Europe

The new Viewcast NiagaraMAX portable webcasting system is to make its European debut on the ATG Broadcast stand at IBC 2003.
Part of the ViewCast family of Niagara streaming systems, NiagaraMAX sets a new benchmark for portable live webcasting.
Designed for live or on-demand entertainment, news, sports or weathercasting, NiagaraMAX is quick and easy to set up. It is also exceptionally portable, occupying an aluminium briefcase with mechanical shock isolation. The briefcase is small enough to fit a standard aircraft overhead luggage holder. NiagaraMAX contains all the components of a fully equipped high-performance digital encoding workstation including Osprey capture or codec cards. ViewCast's exclusive SimulStream feature allows concurrent streaming in Microsoft and RealNetworks formats. An integrated CD-RW drive enables live events to be archived archive as they happen."
NiagaraMAX comes complete with Osprey analogue A/V capture card, Osprey professional analogue and digital A/V capture card, Intel Pentium 4, 3.06 GHz processor with hyperthreading, 1 Gbyte RAM, 120 Gbyte hard drive, Intel Extreme Graphics, 17 inch 1280 x 1024 TFT LCD screen, multiple video and audio input/outputs (SDI, DV, composite and S-Video, unbalanced stereo line level, balanced stereo analogue plus AES/EBU digital). full size keyboard with three-button Logitech optical mouse. The PC is fully integrated with Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Helix Producer Plus, Windows Media Encoder and DVD/CD-RW Drive.
Niagara SCX (Stream Control eXtension) manages the entire workflow process from one location with remote monitoring and control of multiple, remote, or distributed streaming encoders in a dynamic, intuitive user interface.
