IMD install first QEdit Pro in London

London post house Image Makers Digital Facilities (IMD) have installed a Quantel QEdit Pro non-linear editing system as their number one non-linear on-line finishing suite.
The system was supplied by Quantel's UK reseller, McMillan.
Established for over 14 years, IMD has built and maintained a highly successful business in one of the most fiercely competitive areas of the market – mainstream on-line editing and finishing. IMD Director, Dave Austin, sees a healthy future in this area, based around the all-round capabilities of QEdit Pro. He said: "I keep hearing that the middle of the market is being squeezed out from both sides. Our experience at IMD is quite the opposite; our clients come back to us because firstly they like what we do and the way we do it, and secondly they like the friendly atmosphere and our 'whatever it takes' attitude.
